Learn to use a variety of tools to draw with ink, and to experiment with confident mark making without prior drafting! A fun crash course suited for beginners, or to loosen up those experienced at drawing.

Learn to sketch in ink
I periodically teach workshops on sketching in ink. I have a class format designed that suits complete beginners, and also works to loosen up the drawings of more experienced students.
I am a firm believer that drawing is just a way of seeing that everyone can do, with the right approach and guidance. Plus, it’s a great mindfulness activity whether or not you are objectively doing well!
I’ve taught the class since 2017 and have run it in a single evening format, weekend full day class, full day professional development for school teachers & staff, and most recently a three-night intensive class.
I’ve taught for councils & youth programs, regional arts groups, education providers and social classes for the public.
